From a structural design innovation perspective, the helix gear is a type of gear optimised through parameters
such as helix angle, tooth width, and tooth profile curve to achieve spatial transmission adaptation
and performance enhancement. It flexibly accommodates diverse transmission layout requirements.
Its defining feature is the adjustable helix angle (typically 8°–25°) tailored to transmission direction
and spatial constraints, configurable as left- or right-handed. Dual helical gears (herringbone gears) counteract axial forces.

The helix angle direction and magnitude are determined by the transmission system's spatial configuration.

meshing is achieved through helix angle matching. The axial forces from the left and right helical segments
of the double helical gear mutually cancel, eliminating the additional bearing load caused by axial forces
in single helical gears. Optimised tooth profile curves (such as involute modification) further enhance meshing smoothness.
